Scope of Works
A strict 8-week programme focused upon delivering works across a series of classrooms including; demolition of existing internal walls, introduction of new external cavity walls as well as windows, doors, internal doors, suspended ceilings, lighting, and floor coverings.

Programme
Our Contracts Manager developed project timescales with support from teaching staff and facilities management, factoring-in school timetables, parent evenings and teacher training days resulting in a robust delivery programme.

Health & Safety
Working with Client’s Principal Designer we developed a comprehensive Construction Phase Plan in accordance with CDM2015 Regulations. We provided annotated diagrams supporting our Safe Systems of Works discussing with teachers improving their understanding for how works would progress around the school and what temporary restrictions would result.

Welfare
Safeguarding the health and wellbeing of young children was paramount working within a live school environment. Supporting our Safe Systems of Works we scheduled demolition works late afternoon following school closure, with full professional clean down prior to morning drop-off each day.

Customer Satisfaction
We maintained daily communication with the school head teacher and facilities officer providing 20 minute briefings detailing works complete and planned to ensure all parties remained informed and any concerns addressed.

Completing the scheme on time, within budget surpassing the standards required received excellent feedback.
