Residents of Fazakelery have thrown the only Royal Wedding Street Party in Liverpool, with a little help from local businesses.

Frank Rogers supported the community group in celebrating the day that saw residents from around Second Avenue, come together to mark the royal occasion.

As part of the day organisers hired a bouncy castle, assault course and face painters whilst a DJ kept the music going throughout the day. The local fire brigade came down and the children were able to jump in and explore the fire engine whilst members of the Matrix team joined in the fun, with Spiderman also making a surprise visit.

Laura McGavin, one of the organisers explained: “This was such a fantastic day that really brought the community together, young and old alike. With so much going on, there was something for everyone and during meal time the children all sat down together and ate lunch which was great!”

“We’d like to thank all of those that supported us including Frank Rogers, who through their funding helped make our day super special and shows their strong bonds with local communities!”
