Liverpool contractor, Frank Rogers, has secured a £1million contract to upgrade the head office of leading branded clothing, merchandise and print experts, Wild Thang.

The firm’s offices on Derby Road, Bootle, Liverpool, will enjoy a complete upgrade, modernisation and extension as part of Wild Thang’s ambitious expansion plans.

Under the scope of works, the Frank Rogers team will construct a new steel frame, housing an additional accommodation block to the side of the existing property whilst the existing accommodation block to the front elevation will be demolished, forming part of the widening of Derby Road being carried out by Liverpool City Council.

Internally a series of improvements will be made under a four phase approach including the construction of a new screen print room with decoration works and new openings, whilst the former screen print room will demolished. External works to the new extension will be delivered under the final phase.

The project kick started in May with handover expected at the end of November.

Dean Rogers, Managing Director of Frank Rogers commented:

“This is an interesting scheme that will see the reconfiguration and extension of an existing site to make way for Wild Thang’s plans for growth. Work is underway and is expected to be completed within six months.

“As a Liverpool firm, it’s always great to work with other pioneering local firms who are helping put the city region on the map nationally.”
