Frank Rogers has been awarded a large-scale window replacement and roofing contract for Riverside Housing.

A long-standing client of the Liverpool-based contracting firm, 66 Riverside homes in Woollam Place, Manchester, will each benefit from a full window replacement programme as well as various roofing works.

The homes, contained within four apartment blocks, are set in a conservation area, close to Manchester City Centre and only a few roads away from main thoroughfare, Deansgate.

The Frank Rogers team are well versed in both window replacement and roofing works for private and social landlords. This project is expected to take 14 weeks, during which time a full time Frank Rogers Tenant Liaison Officer will be on site to manage the logistical nature of the scheme including access to individual homes.

Dean Rogers, Managing Director at Frank Rogers said:

“We have worked with Riverside Housing for many years, and have considerable experience of carrying out this type of work within conservation areas for other clients”.

“As one of the regions most established contractors for the social housing sector, we have considerable experience carrying out and managing these types of works and look forward to starting on site imminently.”

Roofing works include the replacement of roof line gutters and down spouts to ensure the buildings are watertight. Removal and replacement of windows will require full scaffolding and internal access throughout the contact duration.
