At Frank Rogers, we believe that construction is about more than just building projects — it’s about building communities, creating safe spaces, and ensuring the wellbeing of the people who make our industry what it is.
That’s why, on World Mental Health Day, we are proud to announce that we have joined the Mindflow United “First 11”, alongside Mindflow’s Founding Members, Causeway Technologies and Christopher Ward.
The “First 11” is a small, exclusive team of companies and individuals who will stand with Mindflow from the very beginning, shaping their journey and supporting their mission to tackle mental health challenges in construction. With suicide rates among the highest of any UK industry, the need for proactive, collaborative action has never been greater.
Our long-term commitment to mental health
This isn’t new territory for us. Through the Frank Rogers Foundation, we have a strong track record of supporting mental health and wellbeing initiatives. We are:
Joining Mindflow’s “First 11” is a natural progression in our mission to ensure every worker feels seen, supported, and safe.
Supporting our people
As well as working with external partners, we are equally focused on the wellbeing of our own teams. Today, as part of World Mental Health Day, we sent an all-employee reminder of the services we already provide:
A message from our Managing Director
Dean Rogers, Managing Director at Frank Rogers Building Contractors, said:
“At Frank Rogers, the mental health and wellbeing of our workforce is a priority every single day. Through our Foundation, we’ve consistently invested in initiatives that support both our employees and the wider community. Becoming the third member of Mindflow’s ‘First 11’ team is a natural extension of that commitment.
Today, on World Mental Health Day, we’ve also reminded our employees of the support available to them - from free counselling through Medicash, to our trained Mental Health First Aiders, and clear signposting via posters across all our offices and sites. These aren’t token gestures; they are part of our culture. By working with Mindflow, we are ensuring that support extends beyond our own workforce and into the wider construction industry.”
Trevor Steven, former Everton player and Mindflow CEO said: “We are thrilled to have Frank Rogers as part of our First 11. Taking the number one shirt, we know the industry will be in ‘safe hands’.I am so grateful to Dean and the team for supporting our Charity through the Frank Rogers Foundation and we look forward to getting some winning results for the construction industry.”
By joining the Mindflow “First 11,” we’re proud to be part of a movement that puts mental health firmly on the agenda in construction. For us, this is about more than a one-off gesture - it’s about building a healthier, safer future for everyone in our industry.
