FR Foundation's £5,000 Donation Empowers Community by Nature with New Youth Worker
The Frank Rogers Foundation is proud to announce a £5,000 donation to Community by Nature, supporting the employment of a dedicated Youth Worker. This key contribution is part of a broader initiative to offer young people in Bootle safe, engaging activities that deter them from antisocial behaviour while easing the financial strain on families in the community.
Through this donation, Community by Nature has been able to provide two additional youth sessions each week, held at their local community centre. These sessions offer a range of enriching activities, including digital design, technology, and outdoor adventures such as beach outings, woodland walks, and hill climbs. Additionally, participants enjoy nutritious meals, learning about healthy eating and cooking along the way.
The Youth Worker has also played a critical role in fostering strong, positive relationships with the young people, becoming a role model while helping them to make better choices and reduce their involvement in antisocial activities. Over 100 young people have already benefitted from this project, helping to improve mental health, boost skills, and reduce crime in the local area.
This impactful programme continues to make a real difference in the lives of young people, creating safer, healthier, and more engaged communities.
