Mick Gaffney, a multi-skilled operative at Frank Rogers Building Contractors has reached a milestone 40 years of employment with the firm.
Mick began working with Frank Rogers in 1974 for original owner and founder Frank – the company remains in the family and today is led by son, Dean. Mick, who has worked under father and son, is one of several long serving employees who have remained with the family company through the years.
Dean Rogers, Managing Director said:
“To say that Mick has stayed with us for some four decades is incredible. He is of course our longest serving employee and this is a landmark year for both him and us.”
Mick continues to work on sites across the North West leading teams made up of skilled operatives and the young apprentices, the future generation of Frank Rogers tradespeople.
“Frank Rogers has a strong family ethos and I’ve enjoyed my time here under both Frank and Mick. As long as I’m fit and healthy, I’ll still be traveling to work each day to working outdoors and onsite.”
The firm enjoys an industry leading low churn rate and has a number of employees who have worked with the company for over 30 years.
“I wouldn’t say that Mick is part of the furniture but he is most definitely an important part for the business – we’ll celebrate with him in style to mark this landmark occasion!”
