Frank Rogers has secured a four year planned maintenance contract, valued at £2million a year, with Plus Dane Housing, leading to further job creation and expansion for the Liverpool based contractor.
The mass kitchen replacement programme will span Plus Dane housing stock across Merseyside, with a primary focus on Liverpool and Ellesmere Port. With a commitment to recruit locally, Frank Rogers is now keen to take a number of tradesmen from the Ellesmere Port area who will be appointed to carry out works within the town as part of the wider contract.
Dean Rogers, Managing Director of Frank Rogers said:
“Frank Rogers support local labour and are keen to attract Wirral-based skilled tradesmen to join our team and help deliver this fantastic programme. We have a wealth of experience in planned maintenance and have fine-tuned the model through previous contracts across the North West and Liverpool. We’ll use this approach in Ellesmere Port where we are set to establish a satellite office from which we can manage the Wirral operation.”
The forty-year old contractor with a turnover of £9million continues to deliver large planned and reactive programmes such as this for housing associations across Merseyside. During a peak period in 2012, Frank Rogers were installing an average 60 kitchens a week.
“We are delighted to have been appointed by Plus Dane. Long term framework agreements such as this offer piece of mind and long term security whilst reflecting the confidence our customers have in us.”
Dennis Lally, Planned Investment Manager:
“I am very pleased to continue our relationship with Frank Rogers as over the last two years they have consistently delivered a product that meets our resident’s expectations. They have risen to the challenge of meeting a demanding client brief having bought into our Neighbourhood Investor ethos and have delivered consistently high KPI’s. I look forward to another successful four years for both parties.”
The contract is set to begin in September and once complete, over 500 homes will benefit from new kitchens in the first year alone. Those interested in applying for a position for the Ellesmere Port operation, should be urged to contact the office on 0151 226 0323
