Liverpool-based contractor Frank Rogers has sealed a three year framework with housing association and social landlord, Helena Partnerships.
Three contractors have been appointed to carry out refurbishment works to housing stock throughout St Helens. The three year programme will involve the conversion of some 150 houses into flats and underlines Helena’s commitment to providing homes which satisfy the increasing demand for smaller properties.
Frank Rogers is set to begin work at the first scheme where a large three bed semi-detached house will be transformed to create two one bed flats . New kitchens and bathrooms will be installed within each of the properties whilst decorating and refurbishment works will complete this first programme.
All of the projects within the framework will support Helena’s vision of providing homes that, in the light of changing legislation and Welfare Reforms, continue to meet the needs of their customer customers.
Dean Rogers, Managing Director of Frank Rogers said:
“Frank Rogers is incredibly well placed to deliver the scoop of works included within this framework. We operate teams of multi skilled tradesman who are able to deliver all of the services including joinery, plumbing, gas engineering and decorating, all of which are needed to make these improvements to the Helena Housing stock.
“It’s great to be part of a long term framework, working closely with Helena Partnerships at various schemes over the next three years.”
