Liverpool contractor Frank Rogers has sponsored one of main activities at One Vision Housing’s annual free fun day extravaganza, Bootfest.
The Bootfest festival, held at North Park, includes a day of fun rides and activities to keep all the family entertained.
Frank Rogers, a member of the housing associations supply chain team, sponsored the events climbing wall and were on hand to support staff and tenants at the event and encourage participants to take the challenge!
Dean Rogers, Managing Director of Frank Rogers said;
“What a brilliant event! As a company we’re happy to be able to get involved – the climbing wall was fantastic and attracted lots of interest. Turnout was great on the day and Bootfest was undoubtedly a huge success.”
‘Stand Up’ entertainment with performances from the regular acts of ‘Wordz’, the Open Mic Night at Ford Lane Community Centre, as well as the Belissimo Disney Choir and other local bands and musicians kept guests entyertained whilst others tried their hand at a spot of stand-up comedy, poetry or singing.
A child-friendly train made its way around the festival grounds throughout the day. Along with parents, children travelled around the festival, hopping on and off at the man-made beach, the tea cup ride and took part in the beat the goalie competition, hosted by Everton Football Club.

“Summer is an expensive time for parents trying to keep their children entertained, so Boofest is a great opportunity for them to have loads of fun, without spending a penny. With over 7,000 local people expected to attend this year’s event, it’s also a great opportunity for us to engage with the local community and let them know about our fun events and projects that run throughout the year.”
