Building contractor, Frank Rogers, has kick started construction works at the Light House Church in Salford, Manchester, creating a striking glazed extension.

The steel framed construction will provide much needed additional space across the foyer of the modern church building. A fast track build programme taking place over just six weeks, the contract includes glazed curtain walling across the front of the existing property as well as electrical and heating installation, as well as full decorative works.

The Frank Rogers team have already completed the erection of the steel frame, which will be followed by laying of the concrete slab and cladding.

Dean Rogers, Managing Director of Frank Rogers commented:

“This is a fairly straight forward project – the stand out feature being the incredibly tight timescales within which this is being completed. We are working closely with the client to meet all of their objectives and have the resources and capabilities to deliver in line with expectations.

“Work is progressing well and we are on target to handover on the agreed date.”
