Our response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak – correct as of 21st April 2020.
Frank Rogers continue to reflect upon the constantly changing aspects of the current COVID-19 outbreak, and we have been closely monitoring the guidance provided to us by the Government and Public Health England, over the past few weeks.
It remains clear that continuing to deliver construction works while maintaining a safe social distance is a significant challenge. We have taken the decision to cease all Live projects, closing down sites across the North West and beyond for a temporary period, until further clarity can be obtained from the Government.
With almost 50 years in business we strongly believe in putting the customer first, and temporarily closing usual business operations will not only safeguard our customers, supply chains but our dedicated staff and their families too.
That said, we recognise the importance in continuing to provide essential services to our customers, supporting delivery of compliance works utilising a small experienced workforce. We have implemented strict hygiene practices including:
- Washing hands and using sanitiser at all times
- Allowing employees to work from home, where possible
- Regularly cleaning offices, site compounds and vehicles
- Advising our employees to self-isolate if they, or any of their family members, show any symptoms of the virus
