As part of the Christmas celebrations at Frank Rogers, the firm launched a series of charitable donations, supporting local causes and organisations.
The company donated £200 to the Belvidere family centre (managed by Whitechapel) which provides emergency accommodation for homeless families. The centre provides a safe environment for families where staff work to help address any support needs.
In addition, this year the team collectively agreed not to exchange Christmas cards but instead to collect money to donate to another house that Whitechapel care for (FAYE House), a domestic abuse centre. Company Managing Director, Dean Rogers, has agreed to match any figure raised by the staff which has culminated in a final figure of £248. A member of the team supports this particular house through volunteering work and the rest of the staff were keen to show their support.
Helen Durie at Frank Rogers commented:
“It’s great to be able to give something to charities that are local to us and that are close to the hearts of people we work with. All of our team were united in our new charitable approach, replacing traditional cards with charitable giving which has been a really refreshing and positive move.”
