Frank Rogers has been awarded a large scale contract with the UK’s largest retailer of hardwood furniture, Oak Furniture Land.

Oak Furniture Land have established a new store and distribution centre in St Helens, Merseyside.

Under a challenging 16 week programme, the Frank Rogers team is set to carry out a series of works including the construction of six new dock levellers, (allowing for the loading and unloading of vehicles), the formation of a new dock leveller apron and associated drainage works, various warehouse alterations and improvement works, including the installation of new lighting and an aspiration fire alarm system.

Dean Rogers, Managing Director at Frank Rogers commented:

“This is a large refurbishment and installation programme that involves a range of trades. As a multi-skilled contractor, we are able to deliver a total construction solution from under one roof.”

Trades employed on the site will include demolition, groundworks, electrical, mechanical, drainage, steelwork, cladding, roofers and decoration.

Dean continued:

“Work is already progressing well on site and we have completed initial works including demolition and have commenced groundworks.

“This is an ideal project for us that allows us to utilise our broad skill set in terms of management and construction, providing a total contracting solution for this commercial client.”
